back to reality

Back from ADM foc and it was awesome! My school rocks man. :D Although the first 2 days was really quite boring due to the long waiting time and terrible food, what followed was kick-ass fun! The food was getting better each day, so was the excitement. Saw lotsa familiar faces, didn't know they would come to ADM. In my group itself, there was jessica n zhenhui frm pjc. Gosh, so suay got into same grp as jessica, this crazy girl used to terrorize me in pj art room. haha But my group was great!

I really enjoyed the laserquest, fright night, greatescape, color bombing game and of course the bash night! Gonna miss the fun, now I'm back to reality, with pschology exam and driving exam just nxt week, stress! Can't wait for foundation classes to start.

Contentment

This week has been quite a good one, I feel contented. Come to think of it, I'm actually leading a pretty good life as compared to many others. The problem is that we ofen see and magnify the negative aspects of life, thereby neglecting the positive ones. Well I believe in order to be happier, one should really stop complaining and start appreciating what's already there. Expectations are also a kind of burden, letting it go makes it all so much easier. When good things really do come knocking at the door, it actually feels much more joyful than if I were to have anticipated something. All unnecessary disappointments and upsets would not have existed too. Hope my new found contentment will last :D.



ADM's orientation camp is just next week! I'm feeling quite excited actually, haha. I was forced to pon my lessons because they threatened to put me on reserve list. :X There will be a "hobo chic" themed party on the last night, what the hell is that. haha

I'll be taking IPPT later again, my little moment of glory awaits. :P

Exam results are out! What a pleasant surprise, my hard work is paid off. Got an A for archi and S for career psych which i S/U-ed. Heh heh hopefully good results will continue to come my way for the exams coming up! yay

1 second ?!

I feel extreme gekness and disappointment man. 11.41, how is it even possible? Just 1 second, ONE SECOND! This magical 1 second cost me 100 bux. >_<

It was my first IPPT as an NS man, at first I was worried about the certain static stations which most people would be worry about but it turns out quite alright which boost my confidence alot. I thought silver was a sure get since I was left with 2.4km. This have been the case last time, and after all I still made the effort to run @ least once every week.

Everyone was running so slowly, I thought my pace was alright though i had a bit of stitch. I guess complacency sets in, plus I've to run in figure of S since there is slow human traffic :X. @ the last lap I still see no one sprinting, didn't give it my all in the end. And when it ended, I was utterly disappointed to see "11.41". How could this happen to me?!! It's just 1 second difference man, can't you guys just round up for me? The evil jx still so happy abt it, haha. I'll needa go for it again, sian.

Well, as I'm kinda broke now i really needed the extra cash. The Silver title means alot to me too. Gotta try harder next time. :p

Many other exams are coming soon too, 2 psychology exams and 1 driving practical to go! In between and thereafter, orientation camps are coming up. I hope I'd be able to manage. Most importantly is still my driving liscense, I MUST get it this july so that i can proceed on to make my braces as my dad promised.

It's a party world.

Had a k-session with marg yesterday. We wanted to go clementi kbox initially since i have a coupon, but it turned out it could only be used after 6 which wasn't even stated on the coupon. It was rather disappointing so we went partyworld instead as the price was reasonable. It was a wise choice man! I didn't know partyworld upgraded so much, there is a leg massage machine inside for our usage and the 2 glasses of drinks served there were huge! haha

Weekend blast!

Weekend was a blast and packed with fun! It has been a while since I last enjoyed myself so much. Saturday went for hwee's 21st party with the usual kss gang. We started off player poker but after a while it gets abit boring since we're just playing with chips, so i suggested changing game. It was then the real fun starts, haha weekian came up with lotsa weird weird games. Initially Et and me were laughing @ how childish they seem, but they were actually quite amusing, especially with those outrageous forfeits. I count myself lucky for not having to do any of those. haha We have guys kissing each other with merely jus a card in b/w them and people kissing the other's ass which all got caught on tape. Too bad they havn't post up the pics yet, cant show them here. hahaha The night ended with the mrt game whereby each of us will have a mrt name and when it is called out the 2 others sitting beside that particular person will slap his thigh till he call out another's mrt name. Haha And once again i'm the lucky one cuz no one remembers mine! Some of them got hit tis super red, haha esp those sitting beside et. :P


Had a picnic and rollerblading/cycling session @ ecp with jx, rc friends, jj and edw on sunday.
There were more than enough food, plus jx brought us lotsa ai xin mian bao. Not that it's not nice, quite tasty and wholesome la, just that while waiting for him who is late, i already gobbled up lotsa other snacks since i was starving. We had to play zhong ji mi ma to clear the food in the end. Next was rollerblading/cycling, this time we seem to travel really fast. jx's rc friends seems to have unlimited energy, keep going faster and faster, while the rest of us have difficulty catching up. haha but nontheless it was a gr8 blading session which left us damn shag.





But good things will eventually come to an end. Just today I felt rather upset due to certain things. I'm beginning to fear my own emotions and feelings, I wonder what disasters they will bring cuz sometimes i really find it hard 2 control them. What would become of me?

Days swiftly come and go

I finally went out to get some sunlight after a week of crazy mugging @ home! I feel so alive again, haha. Went to the just-opened jurong safra with et, it was quite a nice place, but i still prefer yishun though.





It has an interesting facade. I find that after taking the architecture course, I've learnt to appretiate Singapore architecture more. :p The gym there's awesome! huge and exclusive. Relaxed by the pool after that, just lying there watching the little clouds roll by feels great, putting all the annoying hassles behind me.




And this is super yummy! Had a mouth-watering meal @ the jap food court there, totally worth the bux :p


Well, tmr is back to study study and wed exams. Life is going to be ever hectic, pace moving faster and faster. From what I heard, 20s go past in a flash. So treasure every moment!

It's really quite amazing how love and hate can be such a thin line apart.

Exams are just next week and I've been staying @ home. Me and my boring life.
I hope I can get through it soon, I've many things i'd like to do when it's over! :P

Emotions

Emotions are like the weather, so erratic and unpredictable.
Trying to contain it and control it is such a chore.



Anyway, I'm growing chubby. Shall go jogging whenever possible!

Kangeroos!!

Went to the zoo with ben n jx. I finally get to see kangeroos! So happy! It really reminds me of the malaysia trip last year. I want to travel again but I'm so broke. et and hq going to organise taiwan trip at the end of the year, hopefully i can afford it.

I'm starting to think that university life sucks. It is much more complicated than i thought, I was too naive. I thought that after jc, i would never really need to study anymore. I will be able to pursue my passion, art. But things ain't as simple as i thought. Singapore universities want us to be as wholistic as possible. Yesterday, the essay assignment nearly killed me. Well, life is never easy, and human will never get satisfied.

Anyway, I hope I will be able to control my emotions, incinerate the past and start anew! JIA YOU! ^^v

Life of the flying piggy

Start.

Finally i'm reviving this blog. It had been dead for half a yr. Time realli flies, 2007 is coming to an end and I still have one more year as an NSF. Well, lotsa thing had happened this year, from BMT to seasoldier trainee to rhibsteam now, i've learnt many new things and made many new friends. Lotsa memories too that i will always remember. BMT was really fun, kinda miss it.

This was @ my passing out parade; a wonderful day i'll never forget.And of course my hands which suffered serious abrasion on gamesday that made me skip 24k. I will always rem that period of time whereby my hands were wrapped up like a boxer which invited many stares when i go on the streets..haha. The worst part was when i bathe and shit. Haha i even brought rubber gloves. Well have to thank BMT frienx for their support too and pong who "saved my life" haha.









Then it was hell it changi. As a trainee there was terrible, it was like a nightmare i never want to rem. The place was fuckin regimental, in conflict with my laid back personality. I was kinda depressed then. Booking out hasn't been so filled with happiness and booking in hasn't been so torturous before. We had one of the worst batch of instructors man and the course was damn packed so there wasn't really much time for interaction. Haha but still its gr8 achievement i've survived. But i believe i could have acomplished much more thru the course if i were stronger. I guess i will just have 2 move forward. Here are the frienx of changi =D











On job training @ tuas was one of the best phase of my ns life as it was so relaxed as compared to the tormenting changi. But after that it begins to feel monotonous. Well this is my life now. Althought my work now allows me to do my own stuff like drawing, reading comics, psp, etc.. but life is really quite bland and the environment here is kinda political. And though bookout seems like countless times, they last so shortly. One good thing is that i've learnt to drive the boat.

Anw i have rediscovered my love for iceskating. It had been years since i last stepped into the iceskating rink, ytd went wid marg and i had so much fun. =D

Been a long time since i blog..simply lazy. I will have so many 2 blog abt. De past 3 mths in raven2 had lotsa expiriences n memories tad will rem 4 life. Made lotsa good buddies n had fun dere. Realli miss tekong lo..but too bad tings will come 2 an end. De most memorable hav 2 be outfields.. de rations, de digging of trenches all tad.
But tings aint de same now.. i aint as happy but its getting better here as howeva hellish it is i still had survived half de course. another 5-6 weeks 2 go! hopefulli i can get out of tis shit real soon. I miss civi life. N i got admitted in2 NTU visual comm le..haha gr8 man.

Had been coughin 4 1 whole week. Throat damn pain now le. Anw i regretted seeing de MO, cuz i was given light duties 4 2 days..n i needa zuo bo 4 3 days while de rest were trainin. Damn sian la, den hav 2 help do some sai kang too. Ytd was out wif ju n marg.. almox de whole day @ pool fusion. I realli shldnt hav eat de deep fried stuff, but i was realli hungry den! so dere goes mi recovery, i couldnt tok cuz 1 sentence will cost me 10 coughs..haha. Anw smth realli funni happened! I was eating strepsils n de sweet accidentli slip out of mi mouth on de floor. Den ju tot it was 5 cents n went 2 pick it up!!!! LOL!!!! wad a joker!!! lol
well tads all be, goin field camp on 4th of feb le n will b confined 2 weeks, sian. Anw my art tcher asked mi whether i wanna do freelance design anot..interestin ar..i shall try it after i pass out.

New yr eve counted down @ esplanade wif hq, kian, pat n kong. We managed to occupy a good spot on de railings of de bridge, sit till song song. lolx n de fireworks were magnificent. However it seems like i've been dere done tad, so nxt countdown i no longer wanna go c fireworks le. N i caught a flu after tad, n missed de free zoo outing, shux.

Dere was change of plans n i booked out ytd nite instead.
went clubbing wif mi smac pals n army buddies @ double o. Veri squeezy dere leh, but still had fun dancing to de beat. Anw i dont like tad person, wa lao, action barbie, poooiii. Well mojo is finalli back frm taiwan after MIA so long! glad tad he's unharmed by de earthquake. lol Hopefulli can hang out soon. Well gonna go back tonite for 7 days...huuu huuuu, its like when i go back i will miss here loads, when i come out i will miss de food?..lol cuz i eat lesser here. =Pp

Army life have been alright. Haha n i have adapted pretty well, i kinda miss de life n food when i book out. de meals soo wholesome, thou sometimes can be quite sucky la. Anw ytd watched night at de museum wif mar. lol! wad a funni show, haha. N we've upgraded, we go pizza hut eat hor! haha thou we onli shared a personal pan pizza n six piece drumlets but still upgraded! haha. Well, we came up wif a crazy plan called de "taxi plan"! haha gonna carry out nxt week whereby we'll hav our gr8 escape after a comfy taxi ride! Hmm we onli young once rite?..so shld try more adventourous stuff, so
excited...

Last bookout had xmas countdown @ ryl's hse wif mi BNG. N teng bcame de joke of de day! we played cai quan n he called zero wif one thumb pting up! LOL veri dumb lo! shld hav photographed de veri act..haha.

Tues was sentosa trip wif 4e pals. Supposed 2 be a class gathering, end up onli 9 of us n 3 left earli. But overall still ok la, not as fun leh. We were under shelter most of de time n most refuse to part wif de shelter or go 4 a swim. In de end also not much activities, but still i enjoy tokin 2 mi kranjians. haha... Anw realise mi n hq suffer de same fate, went in2 de wrong class n spent hellish 2 yrs in jc cuz no frienx.sadded.
