the really random outing

I failed my driving exam! shit man, auto still fail, damn throw face. haha I screwed up @ de beginning as i cant find de car and made my tester wait, then i mount kerb while parking, followed by more reckless driving outside, the most difficult teck whye route (how suay!). In the end i failed with 30 demerit points. T-T Well, on a brighter side, @ least there isn't any immediate failure, i'll have 2 take this as a lesson learnt. But as for now, no more driving till mid august, cuz i'm damn sick of driving lesson routine! :p



On Sunday, had an impromtu and random outing with the new clique formed from stoker. We decided to go iceskating @ de last min @ Kallang. The rink there isn't as good as JE's due to the small size and it's quite empty too. After that was bishi bashi @ the arcade! haha, spent 10 dollars to get 2 the top level. Saw lotsa people wearing red, machiam NDP like that, but they're actually liverpool supporters going for the Liverpool vs S'pore match. Poor S'pore team. :p





















I finally get to play mahjong on monday! havn't played for a long time, haha. Play with the new clique @ winnie's place, followed by taboo. Fun! The guys actually didn't know the nearest planet to the sun is mercury -_-. Keep insisting is Mars, haha.

Dessert hunt

School exams are over!! Whooo although there's still driving pract on sat, it is one less burden now! I can do whatever i like, hahaha. Yesterday went for a round island food hunt n ktv session with fellow stokers. It turned out to be a dessert hunt since most of the food are sweet sweet stuff. Now i'm really damn sick of anything sweet! Luckily the durian stop was a failure as the stall was no longer there because durians stink!! Realised our outing quite cheena too, Adm-ers are not all potato-eaters after all. :p

Some of the food we tried. At the end of it we were all feeling quite nii with all the sugary delicacies, so didn't really enjoy the food totally. The ching teng tasted quite gross. :X

KTV session was hilarious, we were all overwhelmed by Zhikai's overdramatic rendition of songs.

After the KTV session, I was forced to eat supper @ macs by qiyi. Sinful! After much bargaining, we settled for a healthier choice, HAPPY MEAL! haha with corns n milk. It was rather late and we planned to go cat hunting near the neighbourhood, using the left over corns as bait. Unfortunately they were nowhere to be found, not even @ their usual hideout behind the NTUC, so disappointing. We fed the corns to xiao qiangs instead. haha And our neighbourhood quite haunted too, there was this abandoned road which was quite spooky, and quite a couple of ghost stories related to our area too. It was fun scaring each other.

back to reality

Back from ADM foc and it was awesome! My school rocks man. :D Although the first 2 days was really quite boring due to the long waiting time and terrible food, what followed was kick-ass fun! The food was getting better each day, so was the excitement. Saw lotsa familiar faces, didn't know they would come to ADM. In my group itself, there was jessica n zhenhui frm pjc. Gosh, so suay got into same grp as jessica, this crazy girl used to terrorize me in pj art room. haha But my group was great!

I really enjoyed the laserquest, fright night, greatescape, color bombing game and of course the bash night! Gonna miss the fun, now I'm back to reality, with pschology exam and driving exam just nxt week, stress! Can't wait for foundation classes to start.

Contentment

This week has been quite a good one, I feel contented. Come to think of it, I'm actually leading a pretty good life as compared to many others. The problem is that we ofen see and magnify the negative aspects of life, thereby neglecting the positive ones. Well I believe in order to be happier, one should really stop complaining and start appreciating what's already there. Expectations are also a kind of burden, letting it go makes it all so much easier. When good things really do come knocking at the door, it actually feels much more joyful than if I were to have anticipated something. All unnecessary disappointments and upsets would not have existed too. Hope my new found contentment will last :D.



ADM's orientation camp is just next week! I'm feeling quite excited actually, haha. I was forced to pon my lessons because they threatened to put me on reserve list. :X There will be a "hobo chic" themed party on the last night, what the hell is that. haha

I'll be taking IPPT later again, my little moment of glory awaits. :P
