The past week had been quite a packed one and I'm glad that I finally have some private time at home to do my own things today. Grandma's funeral lasted for a week, I hope all is well for her and she can rest in peace.
Went for another random outing with Qi on tues. She had been traveling, how fortunate for her. Our initial plan was to go to the huge playground at woodlands without really knowing where it is and in the end we failed to find it. After taking the bus from woodlands, we came one round back, haha. It actually costs 12 cents to do that. Decided to go night safari instead.
We were lucky, it was tues day which is Gelare day!! YAY!
Have not eaten that for a long long time, just realized they actually have so many ice cream flavors. This one was simply delicious! Even the kid sitting next to us was giggling so happily. Seldom see such a young kid so happy, they're usually crying, haha.

Night Safari was quite boring, most of the animals looked really down. We entered the place with a boom at first, invited by a happy tribal dance but later it died down when we see all the sad animals.
These are the only 2 happy animals, otters and bats, they are happily playing around. The otters damn cute, they are squeaking so joyfully! Ended that night with ben and jerry! :D
And boss called again to scold me regarding my lateness, it feels like a teacher reprimanding her student. haha I felt quite bad afterwards. I guess I really can't be late for work anymore. The next day she gave us an ice cream treat, she's actually quite a nice person but we kinda took it for granted.
Watched Salt on Saturday and I really enjoyed it. It is yet another cheem movie that set me thinking but I kinda enjoy cheem movies nowadays. Maybe I'm getting old and like to think more now. haha. Jolie was great, she turned into a scary fighting machine all of a sudden in the movie but it was impressive. :)
I love these colorful portraits by Gwen Seemel, Stephen Bennett and Francoise Nielly. Their use of colors and brushstrokes are all so unique in their own way.

These abstract paintings of the sea are amazing too! :)
Sunday feels wasted so today I hope to accomplish more things.
